Gasses

There is a property of gas called compressibility. Compressibility is a measure of how much the volume of matter decreases under pressure.

There are 3 factors that affect gas pressure. They are:

  1. The amount of gas.
  2. The volume.
  3. Temperature.

The air in the raft helps the raft keep inflated. But, the amount of gas in the raft can’t be too much because it would pop going around the rocks and in the rapids. That is one real life situation in which the amount of gas matters, which is a property of gas.
